What’s Up as of January 28, 2015.

I can’t believe it is already the end of January. The fall was jam packed for me as I held two teaching positions.

In December I finished filling in for Benjamin Butterfield, Head of Voice, at University of Victoria for his half a sabbatical. I’m still involved with The Canadian College of Performing Arts filling in for another teacher on leave. I’m teaching a class called Connections. I love it. I work with music theatre students in 8 hours of master class a week. The goal is teach them to connect to the lyric and develop the craft of putting a song across.

January 30th to February 2nd, 2015 I’m in Berkeley, California at the Northern California Shambhala Center taking Meditation Guide Training.

Projects on the go in February:

  1. I’m creating a Mini play for the Spark Festival, at The Belfry Theatre March 2015
  2. I’m developing a One-woman show that will tour British Columbia 2015/16. I have the title, now I need the songs!
  3. I’m continuing to work towards creating a series of online life coaching classes for artists. My goal is to meet all budgets. The details will be announced later this month.
  4. I’m working on my first long form documentary for CBC Radio 1. More details to come on that one.
